Unstuck

Terms of Service

Last updated: September 9, 2026

These terms cover your use of Unstuck. Unstuck is operated by Durva Mathure, based in San Francisco, California. You can reach us at hello@jointableforone.com.

By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

What Unstuck is

Unstuck matches founders who are stuck on similar problems and books them a short call together. You describe your problem, we write it up, we find someone in a comparable position, and we schedule 25 minutes.

That is the whole service. We are not a coaching service, an advisory firm, or a marketplace for paid help.

What Unstuck is not

Advice. Nothing in Unstuck is professional advice of any kind: not legal, not financial, not tax, not medical, not employment. The app files your problem into a category so it can match you. It does not tell you what to do, and it is not qualified to.

Vetted experts. The people you are matched with are other founders. We do not verify their experience, their credentials, or anything they say about themselves. They are strangers with their own opinions.

A guarantee. Anything said on a call is one person's view. What you do with it is your decision and your responsibility.

Your account

You need an account to use Unstuck. You agree to give accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has access to your account.

One account per person. Don't create an account for someone else.

How you agree to behave

Unstuck depends on people being decent to each other in a private setting. So:

  • Show up. If you accept a session, attend it, or cancel with enough notice for the other person to plan around it.
  • Bring something real. Every person in a session brought a problem. Don't book time to pitch, sell, recruit or promote.
  • Keep it private. What someone tells you in a session, and what they wrote in their brief, is theirs. Don't share it, post it, screenshot it, or repeat it with their name attached.
  • Don't record. Do not record a call without everyone's explicit agreement.
  • Don't be abusive. No harassment, no discrimination, no threats.

Breaking these is grounds for us removing your account without notice.

Your content

The briefs you write, the messages you send and the outcomes you record are yours. You keep ownership of them.

By using Unstuck, you give us permission to store that content, process it as described in our Privacy Policy, and show your brief to the people you are matched with.

You are responsible for what you put in. Don't put in anything you do not have the right to share: someone else's confidential information, another company's trade secrets, or anything covered by an agreement you have signed.

Calls

Calls happen on Jitsi, a third-party video service. We do not join, record or store calls, and we are not responsible for that service being available or for what happens on a call.

Anything that happens on a call is between the people on it.

Availability

Unstuck is a small product built by one person. It may be unavailable, break, or change. We do not promise uptime, and we do not promise you will be matched. If nobody else is stuck on something similar, you will wait.

We may change or discontinue the service. If we shut it down, we will give you notice and a chance to get your data out.

Cost

Unstuck is currently free. If we ever start charging, we will tell you before it applies to you and you can stop using it.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This is permanent and deletes your briefs, availability, messages and outcomes, and cancels any upcoming session.

We may suspend or remove your account if you break these terms, or if we shut down the service.

Liability

Unstuck is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of Unstuck, including decisions you make after a session, anything another user says or does, or the service being unavailable.

Some places do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as the law allows.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Unstuck after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
